Connor: December 2011

The month of December was incredibly busy for me.  I took my little friend Sidney and her Mom to Disney on Ice.  We saw Mickey and some of his friends.  We also went to the Biloxi Christmas Boat Parade.  They light up all the boats with Christmas lights.  At the end the parade they have great fireworks.  We took our traditional Christmas pictures at the Beau Rivage and Sis and I even sat on Santa’s lap.   We had school parties, home cookie cooking parties, and even had time for 3 Christmas openings…one at home, one at Grandmas’ and one at Mamaw’s.  Uncle Brian was able to even come down from up north and spend Christmas Day with us.  Lots of Driving at Christmas but it was worth it.  We saw lots of relatives and Santa brought lots of presents.

Connor: November 2011

Wow, my third Thanksgiving!  I had lots of fun assisting Sissy in dissecting the turkey heart, but I refused to eat any turkey.  Mom says that’s because I am a picky eater.  Camping this month was especially fun since Dad let me help with the campfire!  Decorating for Christmas with Mama made me very excited for Santa’s visit.  Should I start being good now?

Connor: October 2011

Wow, what a month!  Besides our trip to Disney (in another post), we had Hannah’s school Fall Festival, a spur of the moment day trip to New Orleans, school Halloween outings, and even a trip to an alligator hatchery!   My speaking is getting much better, Dad and I “wessel” (that’s how I say wrestle) on the floor allot.  Life is good! 

Connor: September 2011

I finally got to go to “Connor’s school”.  My friend Natalie is in my class, but my teacher knew better than to sit us together.    I camped out in Mom’s room for the first time because of Hurricane Irene.  Not the same as sleeping in the RV, but fun anyway.  Later in the month, Dad took us to a great state park where I rode my “big boy’s bike” all over the place.  The whole family rode bunches and bunches.  We even swam at the beach on Lake Pontchartrain. 

Connor: August 2011

Sissy went back to school at the end of August.  Although I missed her, I had Mommy all to myself.  More importantly, I had all the toys too!  As you can see I took over Hannah’s doll house (which used to be Mommy’s) and turned it into what it really was meant to be…a high rise parking garage.  Sissy was not happy.  I really missed Daddy when he went to sea, but fortunately he was only gone for the night.  I can’t wait to go to “Connor’s school” in September. 

Connor: July 2011

July was a good time to stay at home and take it easy. We spent a lot of time in the pool. I wanted Daddy to teach me to swim like the other kids...no arm floats and no float swimsuit! I did well, getting more adventurous every day...even jumping off the side and swimming back to the steps. Dad is teaching me to drive the lawn mower. He says it will be fun for me to know how. I think he has other motives. 

Connor: June 2011

June was a quiet month for us, after our big vacation. Connor spent lots of time in the pool and playing with his Sissy. The highlight of the month was CARS 2 coming out. He had been asking to go to that show since the previews had started several months before! Connor clearly understands what he is told and is slowly getting better with his pronunciation. Mommy and Connor seem to have their own language as Mommy and Connor can have a whole conversation and Daddy will have no clue. For example, drink is "dink"

Connor: May 2011

Not much happened in May. Mommy had her birthday. We went to a play at Hannah's school. We also went on vacation.

Connor: April 2011

Connor enjoyed Easter this year and even helped his Sissy find their Easter baskets. Jelly beans...who would have thought jelly beans could be used for potty training! All Connors favorite activities were abundant in April. Plenty of swimming, play dates with his play group, and his newest pastime…playing in the dirt! Connor won’t let Daddy cut the grass without him riding along. Connor is all boy! He is still talking about his trip to see “Thomas the Train”. Connor: March 2011

As the weather warms even more, we can feel the excitement for summer mounting. March was filled with local activities and visitors from the cold North. We had so much fun, we had to break the pictures from this month into three separate posts…Hannah, Connor, and Mamaw and Papaw’s visit. We also posted a few videos. Connor gave us many gray hairs in March. He is really becoming a little daredevil (absolutely all boy!) He has no fear and is now jumping into the pool doing cannon balls just like his Sissy. This month he decided he doesn’t need arm floaties in the pool, so he now wears a floating bathing suit. He also has graduated to a “big boy’s bike” where he goes as fast as he can, not even slowing down to turn, often getting the bike up on one training wheel.

Connor: February 2011

I turned 3 this month! Yahoo, I am a big boy! Mom and Dad don't like it because they say I am their baby (but I really think it is because they now have to pay for my ticket at the movies). We had an exciting month. I had TWO birthday parties; one with my friends and one with my family. I got to bake and decorate cupcakes for the first, and Mom made me a train cake for the second. We also got to go camping during February. I do love my RV trips!

Connor: January 2011

January was a strange month for us. We took it easy for a change! It was very cold, unusually cold for the Deep South; we just stayed around the house. We took it easy and recovered from the holidays. Surprisingly Mommy and Daddy did not take many pictures this month. That was strange. I blame it on the fact that Daddy finally purchased a new computer and was busy with fiddling with it. But boy do I like sitting on Daddy’s lap and watching “Herbie” videos on the new computer. "Holy cow" is it faster than the old dinosaur he was using!
